Have no idea what your Pickleball Rating is?  Would you like to know?

Join Scott Zevin for a skills rating session.  Scott has been playing and instructing locally for many years and recently got his Pickleball Rating Certification from Pickleball Coaching International (PCI).  The PCI Rating Assessment Tool offers a consistent way to evaluate a person’s pickleball skill level while doing so in a way that is objective, relevant and with clearly defined standards.  Players are given a series of tests using a live ball rally. Scott will record your performance and then compare your outcomes to the rubric.

The PCI Rating Assessment Tool (see below) is meant to give a good idea of a player's baseline skill level -- it is not intended to measure a player's maximum ability!   While I think this tool does a great job of giving an idea of a player's skill level, no tool is perfect!  For example, we aren't able to measure someone's grit, determination or tenacity (all of which are useful when playing pickleball). That said, I think this tool provides a useful, objective way of measuring fundamental pickleball skills that in the vast majority of cases gives players and coaches an idea of someone's rating.

The session is open for 5 players.  Scott will be working with each of you 1-on-1 for 10-15 minutes and others will be allowed to participate in open play until you are called over.  Please check-in with Scott upon arrival so you know your order for the skills assessment.  Cost - $30 per person

    Minimum 2/Max 5 registrations
